A Dhaka court today sent two owners of an unauthorised chemical warehouse to jail on completion of their three-day remand in a case filed over the devastating fire that killed six people in old Dhaka s Armanitola on April 23.
The accused are: Mostafizur Rahman and Mohammad Mostafa.
Metropolitan Magistrate Rajesh Chowdhury passed the order after Mir Rezaul Islam, an inspector of Bangshal Police Station and also the investigation officer of the case, produced them before his court on completion of their three-day remand in the case.

Shaheen Fakir, officer-in-charge of Bongshal Police Station, said they are yet to know about the arrest.
After hearing the names from this correspondent, the OC said both are owners of the chemical storage where the fire originated.
The fire broke out at a chemical storage facility on the ground floor of the six-storey Musa Mansion early Friday, leaving five people dead and at least 23 wounded.
Rab will hold a press briefing later in the day about the arrest.
