Home Minister Mahmood Ali said that those who engage in the hoarding and black marketing of oxygen and life-saving drugs such as Remdesivir in the State will face severe consequences. There is no scope for black marketing in the State, he said.
Following a review meeting with DGP M Mahender Reddy and other senior police officials, he said that those attempting to sell oxygen and life-saving drugs on the black market would be arrested, and he advised people not to store these drugs and oxygen cylinders in order to protect Covid-19 patients.

HYDERABAD: Home minister Mohammad Mahmood Ali on Monday assured that the TRS government will resolve all problems of the Muslim community within the state.
Addressing a series of meetings in Yacharam and Kashiwarigudem villages in Anumula mandal of the Nagarjunasagar constituency, the home minister stated that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao has all along supported Muslim minorities. Only the Congress treated the minorities as its vote bank.

Home Minister Mohammad Mahmood Ali on Thursday appreciated the police’s work during COVID - 19 outbreak and said that they have adopted a friendly policing approach.
He was speaking at the inauguration of the new building of the Nampally Law and Order and Traffic Police Stations. Mr Ali also pointed out that representatives from other States have been coming to Telangana to understand its system of policing. He also said that the Telangana Police is the leading police force in the country. DGP M Mahender Reddy pointed out that the Telangana government has sanctioned as many as 19 law and order police stations and six traffic police stations. A single police system has been implemented in the State. Hyderabad Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar said four persons have been trained in each police station and that they are working as receptionists who are assisting victims who approach the police station.
