According to a bbc tally, there have now been demonstrations at nearly 140 colleges across 45 states and washington, dc, too. According to the ap news agency, around 2,500 people have been arrested at campuses across the us. And the protesters are demanding a number of things, including that their colleges financially divest from israel.
