(MENAFN - Gulf Times) Students from Qatar Foundation (QF) partner universities recently networked virtually with representatives from more than 40 local companies and organisations to find internships and job opportunities during the first Education City-wide Career Connect.
The event was held online over several days and was open to current students and graduates of Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar, Georgetown University in Qatar, Hamad Bin Khalifa University, Northwestern University in Qatar, Texas A & M University at Qatar, and Virginia Commonwealth University in Qatar.
Company representatives who attended the event gave presentations about their organisations and outlined potential internship and job opportunities, while others held question-and-answer sessions with students and alumni to answer questions about future opportunities or company information.
