LUDHIANA: Mohalla Misarpura in Jagraon has always been identified by a house which belonged to one of the greatest sons and freedom fighters from Punjab Lala Lajpat Rai. The ancestral house held significance as it shaped the early part of life of Lala ji, as he was fondly called.
But on his birth anniversary, the house is just a picture of neglect. Built by his father in 1845, the house needs renovation with immediate effect to keep alive the memories of Lala ji.
