Laffont secures second straight moguls win at FIS Freestyle World Cup Saturday, 12 December 2020
Olympic champion Perrine Laffont continued her strong start to the defence of her overall International Ski Federation (FIS) Freestyle Skiing World Cup title by recording her second straight moguls victory of the season in Idre Fjäll.
The French star scored 82.53 points to clinch back-to-back World Cup triumphs following her win at the opening event of the season last weekend.
Laffont finished the competition 1.92 clear of nearest challenger Anri Kawamura of Japan, whose routine was rewarded with 80.61 points.
American Hannah Soar took third place having amassed 78.63 points.

France’s Perrine Laffont and Kazakhstan’s Dmitriy Reikherd topped qualification as the second International Ski Federation (FIS) Moguls World Cup event of the season began in Idre Fjall.
Laffont is the clear favourite to win the women’s competition at the Swedish venue, which is hosting a Moguls World Cup for the first time.
The defending World Cup champion triumphed in the opening competition of the season in Ruka last weekend, meaning she has now won nine of the last 11 women’s Moguls World Cup events.
