Liberty, which was savagely attacked on June 8, 1967 by Israel's military, will gather at a 55th reunion in Arlington, Virginia June 6 - June 8, 2022, to commemorate the lives of the 34 American soldiers who were killed during the 90-minute Israeli attack and the 173 American soldiers who were wounded. The U.S. Government and the U.S. Navy have refused to investigate or detail the truth about Israel's role and American soldiers who have challenged the misleading conclusions have been vilified as being "anti-Semitic." Concealing the Deliberate Israeli Attack I’m not exactly sure when I first heard of the Liberty incident of 1967. The story was certainly a dramatic one, the attack upon an almost defenseless American intelligence ship by Israel’s air and naval forces late in the Six Day War fought against several Arab states. Over 200 American servicemen were killed or wounded by Israeli machine-guns, rockets, napalm, and torpedos, representing our greatest naval loss of life since World War II.
