Foskett reports that, The city is investigating an allegation that a group of city police officers recently coordinated a sick out action following the discipline of a fellow officer. In a statement released Wednesday, City Manager Edward M. Augustus Jr. said the city is aware of the allegation, and is taking it seriously.
