The Taguig City government will start Friday (July 2) the vaccination of people belonging to the A5 priority group or the indigent population.
Using its vaccination bus, the city government will hold a symbolic vaccination of A5 group at Bagong Lipunan Condominium Tenement in Brgy. Western Bicutan.

It is targeting to vaccinate 1,000 A5 people through the vaccination bus. The bus, which can previously handle 200 people per day, can now vaccinate 1,000, and will be used for A4 (essential workers), A5 and second dose recipients at the Tenement event. Another vaccination bus will be deployed to Brgy. Bagumbayan to vaccinate 1,000 people.

Maldives has approved the emergency use of Moderna and Janssen vaccine in its battle against Covid-19.
Under the Health Services Act and under the Medicines Regulation, Maldives Food and Drug Authority (MFDA) authorized the use of Moderna Covid-19 vaccine to be used in the Maldives as the fifth vaccine approved for use, with the technical advice from National Pharmaceutical Board. The same is to be followed for the Janssen vaccine, approved as the sixth vaccine against Covid-19.
Making the announcement on Sunday, the authority listed conditions to be met when administering both vaccinations.

MEPs underlined the need for more clarity and transparency regarding vaccine contracts, as well as the decision-making process at EU level. They welcomed the European Commission’s openness to share available information whilst also acknowledging that some questions can be better answered by member states and pharmaceutical companies.
