People involved in the old car hobby long ago coined the now oft-used term ‘20-footer’, meaning a car that looks ‘pretty good’ from a distance of about twenty feet away.

Robin Kneen Hartel, age 67, of Shelton entered into rest on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Griffin Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Robin, a lifelong Shelton resident, was born in Derby on December 2, 1953, daughter of the late Rodman Kneen, Sr. and Ruth (Ledger) Kneen. She attended Shelton High School and after spending her senior year studying abroad in Brazil, she went on to earn her bachelor s degree from Springfield College.
She married the love of her life, the late Bruce E. Hartel, in a Batman themed ceremony and together they enjoyed many chilly old car rides as members of the Connecticut Historical Automobile Society (CHAS) and the Connecticut Crankin Yanks Chapter of the Model T Ford Club of America.
