High-Throughput Clonogenic Potential Assays
An essential part of the drug discovery process is to determine a living cell’s ability to survive and proliferate in response to an external stimulus. The clonogenic potential assay is an established technique that effectively, accurately, and quickly measures this response to gene knockdown or overexpression, cytotoxic treatment, radiation treatment or a combination of the three. Traditional assays are difficult and time consuming because of the need to manually count colonies using a stereo microscope, this leads to an increased probability of user error and inconsistency.
August Bioservices has the expertise to apply the powerful BioTek Cytation 5 Multi-Mode Imager, capable of imaging and analyzing cell-based assays in an automated and high throughput way.
