A high-profile Dallas retail center the Mockingbird Central Plaza just east of Southern Methodist University has changed hands.
The two-story retail center on Mockingbird Lane is across the street from DART’s SMU/Mockingbird rail station and the Mockingbird Station mixed-use development.
Built in 1985, the 80,000-square-foot retail and office property has tenants including Whole Earth Provisions and Jason’s Deli.
The building sold for the first time in 36 years to a partnership headed by Dallas developer Corsair Property Co., deed records show. Corsair is a Dallas-based apartment and shopping center builder and investors.
