PPCBank has launched a new card management service for PPCBank Mobile App users as part of its commitment to embracing innovative technologies to create convenient banking for clients.
Three broad new card functions that allow users to be in full control of their cards and connected accounts are embedded in the PPCBank Mobile App.
Whatever transaction customers have made online or via a POS machine can now be viewed from their smartphones.
Card holders can conveniently view their purchase history, which is available online 24/7, and also have the option of filtering purchases made in Cambodia or outside the country.

PPCBank appoints Baek Jongil as president

South Korean-owned PPCBank announced on Wednesday that its Board of Directors (BoD) has appointed Baek Jongil as president, effective April.
Baek previously held the position of CEO at JB Asset Management Co Ltd, a subsidiary of the Jeonbuk Financial Group, a major PPCBank shareholder. Baek succeeds Shin Chang Moo
With over 30 years of experience in the financial industry, he is no stranger to the Cambodian banking sector, having been a member of PPCBank’s BoD from September 2016 to August 2019, and has visited the Kingdom on several occasions.

South Korean-owned Phnom Penh Commercial Bank Plc (PPCBank) and Prudential (Cambodia) Life Assurance Plc on February 1 struck a bancassurance partnership to provide additional options in financial products to the Kingdom’s consumers.
The agreement was signed between PPCBank president Shin Chang-moo and Prudential Cambodia CEO Sanjay Chakrabarty in Phnom Penh.
Shin said the partnership will serve as a one-stop-shop for financial solutions that will improve customer experience and convenience. The accord will provide service packages such as wealth protection and child financial security, he said.
He said: “This enables fully-informed and effective [financial] decision-making . . . PPCBank acknowledges the need for full banking accessibility in Cambodia.
