Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah received his German counterpart Annalena Baerbock in Jeddah on Monday. The officials discussed Saudi-German relations and ways to bolster and develop them to serve mutual interests, tweeted the Saudi Foreign Ministry. They also discussed intensifying bilateral coordination in several regional and international issues, most notably political, security and economic affairs.
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz dispatched invitations to the leaders of Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates to attend the Arab League summit in Jeddah on Friday. King Salman sent a written message to Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Jaber Al Sabah with the invitation. The message was handed to Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal al-Ahmad al-Jaber Al Sabah by Saudi Ambassador to Kuwait Prince Sultan bin Saad bin Khaled during a meeting with the royal in Kuwait.
Bahrain's Civil Aviation Affairs announced on Monday the resumption of flights with Qatar as of May 25. This comes "in accordance with what was agreed upon between the concerned authorities in the two brotherly countries,” Bahrain News Agency reported. The statement added that the resumption of flights “achieves the common aspirations of the leaderships and citizens of both countries.”
King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Project (Masam) for clearing mines in Yemen, successfully dismantled a total of 896 mines planted by the Houthi militia across Yemen during the second week of May 2023. Since the beginning of the project, up to 398,110 mines planted by the Houthi militias have been dismantled, according to the Saudi state news agency SPA. The Kingdom, represented by its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, continues through this project to clear Yemeni lands of mines.
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has sent a written message to Tunisian President Kais Saied to invite him to participate in the 32nd regular session of the Arab League Council Meeting at the summit level in May. The Saudi Ambassador to Tunisia, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Ali Al-Saqr, delivered the message during his meeting with Saied at Carthage Palace in Tunis.
