The Minnesota National Guard shared a video Friday showing some National Guard convoys heading out of Minneapolis. Convoys of @MNNationalGuard vehicles are heading out of the city today as members of the Minnesota National Guard come off duty and return to their families and communities, the Minnesota National Guard stated in a tweet.

On Wednesday, law enforcement leaders in charge of the coordinated response known as Operation Safety Net said they started the process of scaling back the immense security presence in downtown Minneapolis. At one point 3,000 National Guard soldiers and airmen were deployed to the Twin Cities.
