NASA’s Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) recently captured an intriguing sight: South Korea’s lunar orbiter, Danuri, photobombing its images. Launched in 2022, Danuri's mission is to explore the Moon for one year. The photobombing occurred as both spacecraft passed each other in opposite orbits, resulting in distorted images. This event underscores the increasing lunar traffic and the significance of international collaboration in space exploration, offering a glimpse into the dynamic nature of cosmic exploration.
The penalty and interest was supposed to be payable from Oct 1 last year, but the civic authorities deferred the plan. Officials said that it would be easier for the authorities to calculate and impose the penalty and fine on arrears of all the four quarters of the year instead of taking the penalty and interest for the first two quarters and then again calculating the arrears for the third and fourth quarters.
India News: NASA successfully transmitted and reflected a laser beam between its Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) and Isro's Vikram lander on the Moon's surface
The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) announced that Chandrayaan-3 s Vikram lander is serving as a location marker near the lunar south pole. The US space agency NASA s Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) detected signals reflected by the Laser Retroreflector Array (LRA) on the lander using the Lunar Orbiter Laser Altimeter (LOLA).
