CINCINNATI (FOX19) - Cincinnati is honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day in the best way they know-how.
The 46th annual King Legacy Celebration was held earlier in the day with a commemorative civil rights march and motorcade.
âItâs just amazing to see people come out and say, âIâm gonna do it the best way I can,â and those who are watching at home saying, âIâm gonna do it the best way I can,ââ said Hamilton County Commissioners Vice President Alicia Reece.

CINCINNATI (FOX19) - Martin Luther King Jr. Day is now a city holiday in Cincinnati after the council unanimously passed the measure during Wednesday’s meeting.
Following the events at the US Capitol on Jan. 6, City Council said it is more important now than ever to know Dr. King and what he stood for.
A resolution pushing to recognize Martin Luther King Jr. Day as a city holiday next Monday unanimously passed.
