The court had earlier deferred the investigation. The three accused in the case have been remanded to judicial custody late last month after the HC had directed that they surrender before police.
The police in Hyderabad on Wednesday claimed to have caught three persons red-handed while they were trying to buy four MLAs belonging to the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS).
The Cyberabad police conducted a raid at a farmhouse in Aziz Nagar on the city outskirts and detained four persons who were allegedly offering money to four TRS MLAs. It said the detained persons have identified themselves as Satish Sharma, alias Ram Chandra Bharati, a priest from Haryana s Faridabad, D Simhayaji, a seer from Tirupathi, and a businessman, Nandakumar.
