The families of the 1982 and 1985 Maseru massacre victims and survivors will travel to Lesotho for a joint commemoration on Friday. The SA Defence Force raided homes on December 9 1982 and killed 42 people, including 30 Umkhonto weSizwe and ANC members. The 1985 raid left another six South Africans and three Basotho dead.
