The movie industry has lost another veteran actor, filmmaker, and dancer Abiodun Aleja to the icy hands of death.
Abiodun Aleja was reportedly passed on in the late hours of Friday, May 21st at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH). The chairman of the Lagos Chapter of the National Association of Nigerian Theatre Arts Practitioners, (NANTAP), Mkainde Adeniran broke the news of the death of the veteran actor.

Just got the sad news of your death, it is heart-wrenching and devastating. You were a shining star amongst us, a very free spirit man, jovial and caring, if there is the need for a moment of laughter, Abiodun you are the go to person because for you there is never a dull moment.
