Mizoram government has permitted the schools to reopen for class 9 and 11. The schools will resume their classroom teaching from February 22, 2021. An Education Department official declares it on Wednesday.
Schools in Mizoram will reopen after a gap of 11 months. All the schools across the state have been closed since March 2020 due to the spread of COVID-19.
Classes 10 and 12 are already operational from January 22, 2021 in the state. Students have started attending offline classes. Considering this, the state government issued a notice for resuming the classes 9 and 11 from February 22, 2021.
