Synopsis: Satonaka Ichiko (Kaho) has stayed in her room for 18 years in the apartment that she shares with her mother Hatsumi (Harada Mieko) ever since she was bullied in junior high school. As a result of that trauma, she still cannot talk directly to anyone. Her only pleasure is to look at the stars in the sky through a home planetarium. Ichiko’s chats with Ryo (Miyazawa Hio), who is also a social recluse because he was similarly bullied in junior high school, are her only connection with the outside world. Her mother speaks to her through the door every day and is hopeful that she will be able to step outside with a little more time, now that their relationship has stabilised. But one morning, Hatsumi suddenly collapses from a chronic illness. Ichiko goes into a panic and is forced to interact with society. She desperately calls 119 for emergency services.
