ISULAN, SULTAN KUDARAT– A district supervisor of the Department of Education was gunned down on Wednesday while driving his car along the national highway in President Quirino, Sultan Kudarat.
Police said the victim, Abdul Kadir Sultan, was driving his service vehicle, a Mitsubishi Adventure, on his way to report for work when waylaid by unidentified suspects riding in tandem on a motorbike along the national highway in President Quirino past 9 a.m. Wednesday.
The victim succumbed to multiple bullet wounds in the body and head.
PLt. Col. Joel Fuerte, spokesperson of Sultan Kudarat Provincial Police Office, said investigators are looking at personal grudge or work-related angle as possible motive in the killing.
