While in her second year at Makerere University, a mutual friend told Anitta that there was a special person he wanted her to meet. Canon Kezia Batooreza Mugasha was born in 1927, got married in1944, and died in 2020. She is survived by nine children. When Canon Mugasha died last year, her family organised a memorable sendoff at their country home in Kyeibaare, Mitooma District.
