4.5 quake 24 Apr 10:28 am (GMT -5)
Just 14 minutes ago, a 4.5-magnitude earthquake struck near Camana, Provincia de Camaná, Arequipa, Peru. The tremor was recorded in the morning on Saturday 24 April 2021 at 10:28 am local time, at a moderately shallow depth of 57 km below the surface.
The event was filed by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), the first seismological agency to report it.
Based on the preliminary seismic data, the quake should not have caused any significant damage, but was probably felt by many people as light vibration in the area of the epicenter.
Weak shaking might have been felt in Pedregal (pop. 14) located 15 km from the epicenter.

An earthquake of magnitude 4.3 occurred only 22 minutes ago 106 km southwest of El Azufre, Mexico, Mexico s National Seismological Service (SSN) reported.
The quake hit at a shallow depth of 10 km beneath the epicenter near El Azufre, Villa de Tututepec de Melchor Ocampo, Oaxaca, Mexico, early morning on Saturday 24 April 2021 at 2:11 am local time. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
A second report was later issued by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), which listed it as a magnitude 4.3 earthquake as well.

The quake hit at a moderately shallow depth of 57 km beneath the epicenter near Miyako, Miyako-shi, Iwate, Japan, early evening on Saturday 24 April 2021 at 6:35 pm local time. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
