Ohman wins Alderman seat

Ohman had 358 votes compared to incumbent Jim McGill, who had 269. “I’m very humbled and thankful for everyone that came out to vote and I’m also thankful for my opponent, Jim McGill, and thankful for his service to the community,” Ohman said. Ohman had 123 votes on election day itself, with 191 votes in early voting and 44 absentee votes. McGill had 85 votes on election day, 133 votes in early voting and 51 absentee votes. Mayor Robbie Fox was unopposed, but he received 550 votes. Thirteen write-in votes were recorded for mayor. Alderman Mitch Rader also ran unopposed and had 554 votes. There were six write-in votes for his seat.
