Fresh and Local: Farmers market season begins at the lake

Lovers of fresh produce, rejoice! Farmers market season will be kicking off this weekend around the lake, with a majority of local markets beginning within the first few weekends of May. No matter which side of the lake you live on, there is an option for you. Here is a rundown of where you can go to shop, and what to expect:
Camdenton Farmers Market
The Camdenton Farmers Market will begin on May 1 and will run at its normal time from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Morgan County announces multiple possible community COVID exposures

The Morgan County Health Center is notifying the public of potential community exposures from COVID-19 positive individuals. Prior to being diagnosed, the cases went to the following locations,
• 01/19/21-01/21/21: Westside Lanes, Laurie MO
• 01/22/21: Basketball game/courtwarming, Morgan County R-II Highschool
Anyone who was at this location on these dates is at low risk for contracting COVID-19, but should monitor for symptoms. There is no need to self-quarantine or isolate unless symptoms develop.
Morgan County Health Center Administrator Shawn Brantley says that, while those involved should be cautious of further spread, this event is considered very low risk for most people. He says anyone who was at Westside Lanes on those days should monitor for symptoms.
Lake Regional Announces Construction Plans for New Lebanon Campus

Lake Regional Health System has announced plans to open a new Lebanon campus in 2022. Located at 755 Cowan Drive, near I-44 Exit 130, this updated campus will include all of the services Lake Regional currently provides in Lebanon, as well as a few additions.
“Lake Regional is committed to caring for Lebanon, and this new campus will provide greater convenience for our patients, along with excellent care from people who are fully invested in this community,” said Lake Regional CEO Dane W. Henry, FACHE.
