MIT Lincoln Laboratory has released an open-source dataset containing thousands of radar images depicting nearly every U.S. tornado to occur in the past decade. The dataset can serve as a benchmark to enable researchers to build artificial intelligence algorithms capable of detecting and predicting tornadoes.
