Colonel Dr. Russell Kohl with the Missouri Air National Guard says health officials will offer the one-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine to up to 10,000 people during the two-day event. It comes after the U.K. variant of the virus was discovered last month in Greene County. Kohl says you’ll have to park and walk to the event. But he says once you get inside, it should take you no more than an hour to get the shot.

Senate Bill 2, which was passed by the Senate in January, received final approval from the House of Representatives. This measure expands the Missouri Works jobs creation program, allowing part-time military jobs to be eligible for tax incentives. The aim of the legislation is to make Missouri military facilities more attractive to Pentagon planners by reducing payroll costs.
