Another hospital in eastern Ontario is announcing a temporary closure of its emergency department. The Almonte, Ont. hospital s ER will be closed from Friday afternoon until Saturday morning.
The Emergency Department at Almonte General Hospital will close on Friday, July 7th, at 3 p.m. and will re-open at 7 a.m. on Saturday, July 8th. This temporary closure is due to a shortage of nursing staff. The rest of the hospital is still open and caring for patients.
