Its been this way all afternoon ever since this very strong storm hit early this afternoon. The intense downpour seemed to catch everyone by surprise including drivers along the southbound lanes of highway 87 fire that downtown san jose. Debris led to snarled traffic all afternoon after lanes were blocked. Storm drains clogged with leaves were a problem for palo alto.
