The sky. It started alongside the hillside and went to a 4 alarm blaze. It did run up the hill and it was pretty fast moving. Reporter one neighbor captured the smoke as it filled the street. Here is video from a viewer driving on the 101. This man grabbed his camera when he heard the cackling outside his house. Its too much dirt over here so it didnt come out this way. The power went out and bon a couple of times. Reporter a good stretch of hillside boulevard was closed for a few hours t. Cause of the fire is being investigated. If youre smoking, hot dry temperature, hot dry brush equals 4 adapt fires. Now this fire was reported at 2 00 this afternoon and within 30 minutes it was a 4 adapt blaze. Residents in the area were worried it could get out of control. We spoke with residents on the how scary the blaze was.
