The video clearly shows the man stuffing a wild duck from a Clairemont pond into his backpack and biking away.
Robert Gaughen tells our reporting partner 10 news, he was outside his home, looking out at the pond in his Clairemont neighborhood, when he saw the man feeding a duck.
Gaughen went back inside, but a neighbor caught the rest on video.and confronted the man.
In the video, the man is seen holding the duck with his left hand. He stuffs the duck into the bag, and puts the bag into his backpack.
After the man took off, the neighbor showed the video to Gaughen, who filed a report with the state Department of Fish and Wildlife.
