Nagaland: Diezenuo Chüzho is Miss Kohima 2022

Our Correspondent Kohima, Aug. 30 (EMN):  Nineteen-year-old Diezenuo Chüzho was crowned Miss Kohima 2022 at a lively pageant held at RCEMPA, Jotsoma, on Tuesday night. When asked what she thinks is the biggest problem the youth of Nagaland is facing today, Chüzho replied “lack of confidence”, which is why many youngsters could not come out of their shell and pursue their dreams. The newly crowned Miss Kohima expressed her desire to be a role model to the youth and to encourage the youngsters to take bold step and pursue their goals in life. Likhevi Yeptho (23) was adjudged first runner-up while Ketou-ü Pfüsenuo (19) was declared second runner-up. After the traditional, designer round (summer collection by Sheli Designe) and evening gown rounds (Kats Collection), four subtitle winners were announced. Colleges celebrate fresher s day across Nagaland

Dimapur, Aug. 7 (EMN): Model Christian College (MCC) celebrates its 14th annual fresher’s meet on August 6 at the college auditorium on the theme ‘Iridescence.’ Speaking on the topic ‘Chase your dreams,’ the college principal, Dr. Luke Rymbai, stressed that one should chase one’s dreams with determined action rather than merely following the rut. He encouraged students to have alternatives while chasing their dreams, stated an update from the college. He also suggested few steps towards achieving dreams and also highlighted the life story of Ann Davis and his ten points ‘Major mistakes people make when chasing dreams.’ He further reiterated that the initial step towards achieving dreams is to read, read and read.
