Tributes have poured for Graham Jackett a man described as a significant part of the fabric of Flushing village life after he passed away following a short illness. Mr Jackett, died peacefully in his sleep at Langholme on Tuesday night at the age of 82. Due to coronavirus restrictions the family will not to hold a funeral for the time being, but hopefully will be able to have a memorial service when things get back to normal. Tributes have poured in for Mr Jackett, who along with his wife Maureen, were at the centre of village life for decades living in St Peters Hill.
