PML-Q workers stage rally in support of Palestinians
The protesters demanded international community to take notice of Zionists’ aggression.

The activists and supporters of the Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid-i-Azam (PML-Q) took to the roads with a model of Al-Aqsa mosque to express their solidarity with the Palestinian people at Rawalpindi Press Club (RPC) on Murree Road On the call of PML-Q Chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain.
The protesters chanted slogans against Israel and demanded the international community to take notice of the Zionists’ aggression.
The rally was led by the party’s district leadership and Mishal Malik, wife of Kashmiri Hurriyat leader Yasin Malik. Palestinian students studying in Pakistan and their families also joined the rally. The demonstrators also set fire to the effigies of Israel’s Prime Minister Netanyahu and the Zionist state’s flag.
Incarcerated Kashmiri leader Ashraf Sehrai dies in Indian custody

ISLAMABAD: A senior leader of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) and Chairman Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir, Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai, has died in Indian custody in occupied Jammu. According to the Kashmir Media Service, Sehrai was booked under the draconian Public Safety Act and taken to Udhampur Jail in Jammu on July 12, 2020. His condition deteriorated in jail and on Tuesday he was shifted to a hospital in Jammu where he died on Wednesday. He was nearly 80 years old. Sehrai was suffering from multiple diseases and was not provided with any medical treatment during his incarceration. His family members were kept unaware of his condition.

ISLAMABAD: Azad Jammu and Kashmir President Sardar Masood Khan has said Pakistanis stand by Kashmiris and are committed to supporting them for their just cause.
He was addressing a seminar in connection with the Kashmir Solidarity Day here on Friday.
He made it clear that, “we will go to any extent for the freedom of Kashmiri people. Pakistan has been successfully highlighting the Kashmir issue and apprising the world of grave human rights violations being perpetrated by the Indian forces there.”
Masood laid emphasis on the need for promoting unity to defeat the Hindutva mindset of the Indian government being the source of tension and posing potential threat to the regional as well as global peace.
