Many Pirates had top finishes in their respective events over the course of the day at this year s 3A District 4 championships on April 14. Along with individual finishes, both the boys and girls teams finished third respectively. The boys scored a total of 85.5 points on the day and the girls finished with a total of 109 points.
Due to scheduling as well precautions about COVID-19, preliminary rounds were eliminated and all events were finals.
Taylor Washington took first in the girls 100m hurdles in 16.35 and finished second in the girls high jump, clearing 1.52m. She also took second in the girls 300m hurdles in 51.22.
