Dear Newlyweds This book is a compilation of papal audiences given by Pope Pius XII to scores of young newlyweds who came to seek his papal benediction on their marriages. The book covers the joys of marriage as well as the difficulties that may arise problems of discipline in the rearing of children, temptations against fidelity, relationships with elderly parents, even the problems involved in the necessary temporary separations of husbands and wives. The title is addressed to newlyweds, but anyone can benefit from Pius XII s pastoral guidance, which is sensitive to modern conditions yet firmly rooted in the constant tradition of the Church.
