Our CorrespondentKohima, Sep. 26 (EMN): After a gap of two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 9th Nagaland Spelling Bee Championship 2022 on the theme ‘The Learning Edge’ is all set to resume. The spelling championship, being organised by Fountain Club Kohima in collaboration with State Council for Educational Research & Training (SCERT), will be held on October 13 and 14 at RCEMPA, Jotsoma, in Kohima. An update from the convenor of the organising committee, Neizokhotuo Belho, and chairman of Founrtain Club Kohima, S Kevisavi Hibo, informed that the championship will have a cash prize of more than INR 1,60,000 along with certificates, citations and trophies. A maximum of two students from class 6 (six) to 9 (nine) from each school and other educational institutions will be eligible to participate in the two-day event. Our CorrespondentKohima, Aug. 20 (EMN): The Fountain Club Kohima, in collaboration with State Council for Educational Research and Training (SCERT), on Saturday announced that the 9th Nagaland Spelling Bee Championship 2022 would be held on October 13 and 14 at RCEMPA in Jotsoma under Kohima district on the theme ‘The learning edge’. This was announced during a press conference by S Kevi Hibo, chairman of Fountain Club. Hibo informed that a maximum of two students from classes 6 to 9 from each educational school/ institution would be eligible to participate in the two-day event. He informed that a total prize money of INR 1,59,000 along with citations and trophies would be awarded to the winners. The champion would receive INR 60,000, while second winner would receive INR 40,000, third winner INR 20,000 and fourth position INR 15,000.
