Police have summoned Sheffi Paz, a well-known activist against asylum seekers, for questioning over a break-in to a preschool for asylum seekers in Tel Aviv.
A male activist was also summoned for questioning in the case. Both are suspected of trespassing and disturbing the peace. Paz said she intends to ignore the summons.
The two activists went to the city’s new central bus station, where the preschool is located, on Monday to protest against medical staffers who were there to treat migrants with no legal status in Israel. The day before, they had confronted the same staffers at the Levinsky Clinic.
