The shooting was reported in the parking lot of Mi Pueblito Tienda Mexicana on the 400 block of West Silver Star Road, off Ocoee Apopka Road, around 1:30 p.m. Monday, Ocoee Police Department spokesperson Lt. Mireya Iannuzzi said. No injuries were reported as a result of the shooting, she said. Officers learned two men in a small, white sedan shot multiple rounds in the parking lot after lawn equipment was stolen from a truck parked nearby, Iannuzzi said. The initial investigation suggests the men may have stolen the equipment and were confronted by the victim, leading to the suspects firing toward the victim and witnesses, she added.
