One of Devon’s most well-known dining pubs is celebrating the start of its 29th year next month and also gearing up to reopen its doors for the first time since Christmas.
The family-run Jack in the Green at Rockbeare has been owned by Paul and Judy Parnell since May 1992. In that time the pub has been transformed from an ailing, dilapidated roadside inn into a multi accoladed dining pub that has now spent £11 million to date on locally sourced food and drink and employs 30 staff.
