Devil May Cry 5 Vergil DLC Review: A stylish return

Every now and then, a DLC comes along that elevates the experience of the main game. It’s a piece of content so good that once you play it, it’s hard to imagine ever playing it again without the Vergil DLC. After over a year of waiting, Capcom has finally heeded the call of Devil May Cry fans and put Vergil as a playable character in Devil May Cry 5, and the blue-coated devil has never felt this good to play. The Vergil DLC provides an important slice of content that was previously only available in Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition. While the Special Edition is great for those who own a next-gen console, the Vergil DLC is perfect for current-gen system owners and PC players who own DMC 5.

DMC 5 s Vergil DLC Is Here and Has a New Trailer

The time has come. Now everyone with Devil May Cry 5 can spend time with Vergil again. That’s because the new Vergil DLC, which allows people to go through the game as him and wield Beowulf, Mirage Edge, and Yamato again, is available for the base game. There’s even a new video to remind people how he will look. The DMC 5 Vergil DLC is a $4.99 add-on. Once you acquire and install it, you can go through him in the campaign, Bloody Palace, and The Void modes. Remember that while he will go through the entirety of the story, he’ll only have a few new expository segment and there is no original story that follows his journey through familiar areas.
