Chief Minister Jam Kamal assures availability of oxygen in hospitals

Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal on Friday informed the National Command and Control Centre (NCOC) meeting chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan that no ventilator was occupied by coronavirus patients in the largest province of the country.
Participating in the NCOC meeting via video link, the provincial chief executive said his government was ensuring availability of oxygen throughout the hospitals of Balochistan. He briefed the participants on the situation arising due to the third Covid wave and the progress made by the Balochistan Awami Party-led government in controlling the spread of the virus in Balochistan. “The third wave of coronavirus is intense and dangerous,” he said. “Educational institutions are closed in light of the recommendations made by the NCOC.”
BAP to issue show cause notices to its senators

KARACHI: Balochistan Interior Minister Mir Ziaullah Langau Monday said the Balochistan Awami Party (BAP)’s executive committee will issue show cause notices to its senators who had voted the Pakistan People s Party in the Senate polls.
He expressed these views during a visit to the Karachi Press Club. KPC President Fazil Jamil, Secretary Rizwan Bhatti and other office-bearers accompanied him. Langau said the main purpose of forming the BAP was to resolve the problems of Balochistan by staying in the province, instead of going to Lahore or Larkana for it. “The BAP-led provincial government is committed to resolving the problems of the province,” he said.

Balochistan Home and Tribal Affairs Minister Mir Ziaullah Langau has revealed that terrorist organisations of Karachi and Balochistan are working together in the largest province of the country.
He revealed this while speaking to the media at Karachi Press Club on Monday. Langau said action has been initiated against them during which security forces have killed and arrested several terrorists.
During the presser, he claimed that current law and order situation in Balochistan is better than in the past.
Responding to a question pertaining to missing persons, the Balochistan home minister added that the provincial government was provided with a list of 392 missing persons out of which 300 have been rescued. “The provincial government is conducting further investigations in this regard.”

KARACHI: Balochistan Home Minister Mir Zia Ullah Langau said on Monday that terrorist outfits in Sindh and neighbouring Balochistan had lately developed contacts and coordination and under an undeclared agreement they were jointly carrying out activities in both the provinces.
He said the Balochistan administration had reasons to believe this theory after intelligence agencies, law enforcement organisations and security personnel had found enough evidence while investigating different incidents to establish a link between the terror groups of the two provinces.
“If you see the overall situation of Balochistan, it’s largely peaceful and stable,” he told reporters during a visit to the Karachi Press Club. “There are still some random and isolated incidents of terrorism reported, but the number of such acts has come down significantly.
