QUETTA: Finance Minister Mir Zahoor Ahmed Buledi has said that the coalition government has decided to establish the province’s own bank with the name of ‘Balochistan Bank’.
The decision to open the bank will be included in the upcoming provincial budget to be presented in the Balochistan Assembly on June 18 (today).
Speaking at a press conference along with provincial Minister for Revenue Mir Saleem Ahmed Khosa here on Wednesday, Mr Buledi said the government was making efforts to increase provincial resources to provide more funds for development of Balochistan.
QUETTA: Balochistan Finance Minister Mir Zahoor Ahmed Buledi has said that the government has started making efforts for implementing the Access to Right Information Act, 2021, as it has been passed by the provincial assembly. He said everyone has a role to play for implanting the Act.
Addressing a workshop on Democratic Local Governance for Developed Pakistan and Access to Information for Journalists, he said access to information is the right of every citizen. But, he added, information should not be used for creating chaos in society.
The workshop, which was organised by Salar Foundation, was attended by a large number of media people and other people.

QUETTA: Top level negotiations continued between government emissaries and leaders of the Hazara protesters here till 2am where the government requesting that the dead are buried and the protesters asking for Prime Minister Imran Khan to come to console them before any burials.
The government side was represented by Minister for Maritime Affairs Ali Zaidi, Adviser to PM on Overseas Pakistanis Zulfiqar Bukhari and NA Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri. They promised the protesters representatives that Prime Minister Khan would come to meet the relatives of the slain coal miners soon. They requested that the dead bodies must not be publicly displayed any longer and be buried as soon as possible.
