No more Thin Mints for Jersey City Council.
The City Council unanimously passed a resolution Wednesday supporting a local Girl Scout troop’s boycott of Girl Scout Cookies that contain palm oil, which is often produced with child labor. The resolution also calls for the Girl Scouts of America, the national organization, to seek an alternative to palm oil.
