Lietuvos monetų kalykla į apyvartą išleido 500 brokuotų proginių monetų. Kalyklos direktorius dėl to apgailestauja, o numizmatikai ploja rankomis. Brokuotos monetos jiems tarsi prizas loterijoje, praneša LNK žinių tarnyba.
Kad Žuvintų rezervatui skirtoje 2 eurų monetoje įsivėlė klaida, pastebėjo Lietuvos bankas.
„Klaida įvyko briaunoje. Monetos briaunoje panaudota ne lietuviška formuluotė „Laisvė, vienybė, gerovė“, o latviška“, – sakė Lietuvos banko Grynųjų pinigų departamento direktorius Deivis Stankevičius.
Turėjusi būti išimtinai lietuviška, moneta tapo pusiau latviška. Ant monetos atsirado latviškas užrašas sako „Dievas laimina Latviją“. Tokia klaida nutiko Lietuvos monetų kalykloje.
