A total of 118 refugees left Belarus on 22 November on their own, Police Colonel Aleksei Begun, Head of the Citizenship and Migration Department of the Belarusian Internal Affairs Ministry, told reporters in Minsk on 23 November.
The flight will be operated weekly on Thursdays according to the schedule. Departure from Kaluga is at 11.00, arrival in Minsk at 12.20. The return flight departs from Minsk at 13.20 and arrives in Kaluga at 14.35.
A number of foreign air carriers will begin regular flights from the oblast airports soon. “We are accelerating all the air carrier accreditation procedures in order to enable flights from the oblast airports,” the official said.
"There are currently no direct sanctions against Belavia or Minsk National Airport. The losses that are associated with the need to overfly and also the lost profits from the ill-conceived actions of our European partners are monetized. In due course, we will file corresponding lawsuits,” Artyom Sikorsky noted.
