The cities of Minokamo and Kani in the central Japan prefecture of Gifu, and the prefectural government held discussions on countermeasures against coronavirus infections on May 24. According to the prefecture, of the new COVID-19 cases reported during the week between May 17 and 23, 17 of 38 infections confirmed in Minokamo involved foreign residents, while th
