St. Louis County Public Health announced Thursday that they are seeking volunteers to assist at vaccination clinics for when the COVID-19 vaccination becomes more widely available.
The County said they are looking for both Minnesota Board-certified nurses to assist with administering vaccinations, as well as other volunteers to help with registration and traffic control. Basic computer skills are requested. St. Louis County Public Health staff has done an amazing job so far with getting shots into people’s arms during these first initial weeks of vaccine roll-out, Amy Westbrook, St. Louis County Public Health Division Director said. But we will soon be moving to phases with larger priority groups and so we are seeking volunteers to assist us at larger clinic events.
